Prelude to Christmas 2021
An annual favorite, Prelude to Christmas is a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas concert season. This year’s concert will take the form of a hymn festival, featuring selections from the last Sundays of the Church Year through Christmas and beyond. Included will be arrangements from prominent Lutheran composers John Behnke, Carl Schalk, Kevin Hildebrand, Charles Ore, and of course J.S. Bach.
During the concert we will also honor former Chorale members Lynn and Cal Kozlowski. Cal served as the president of the Chorale for many years in addition to singing. Lynn served as the Chorale’s accompanist for 50 years. As her final performance with the Chorale, Lynn will play about 20 minutes of music before the concert, so come early! The choir will also sing “Splendor and Honor,” arranged by our own Kevin Becker, in thanks to God for the faithful service of the Kozlowskis.

MAY
Spring Concert 2022
Join us for our second installment of our season of hymn festivals as we sing favorites--old and new--from the new WELS hymnal. Included will be arrangements from prominent church music composers Carl Schalk, Howard Helvey, David Cherwien, John Ferguson, Keith Getty and Stuart Townend, and of course J.S. Bach.
Also featured will be the premier of a new choral work by Jeremy S. Bakken, former Chorale member and music editor at Northwestern Publishing House. The piece entitled "The Blood of the Lamb" is scored for piano and choir, and is based on the hymn written by Laurie F. Gauger (text) and Sarah R. Lambrecht (tune).
We hope you will join us for an afternoon of organ, brass and lots of hymn singing as we praise God for his great love!
